“The benefits that nature offers to humans (ecosystem services) are the link between biodiversity and human well-being and permeate, directly or indirectly, various United Nations Environmental Multilateral Agreements such as the Convention on Biological Diversity (Aichi Targets) and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). In this event, we want to promote the discussion about what the countries of Latin America and the Caribbean are doing to comply with these international agreements from the perspective of Ecosystem Services.

Objective: The aim of the conference is to discuss what Latin America and the Caribbean are doing (or not) to reach the targets of the 4 major Multilateral Environment Agreements in the context of ecosystem services. Read more

Business track
To improve science-policy-business collaboration and uptake of ecosystem services, ESP organises a one day business track, aimed at business representatives and others, who are interested in ecosystem services.
