Description: Businesses can play an important role in combating the causes of biodiversity loss considering that the services provided by nature are at the basis of every economic process. Promising instruments for the integration of biodiversity into business activity that have proven to be hands-on and at the same time successful are Biodiversity Checks, Biodiversity Action Plans (BAPs) and the BAP-Monitor. During the session, businesses will speak about their experience in integrating biodiversity with the help of these tools. The session will also discuss lessons learnt and possibilities for scaling up.
