The third EU B@B Annual Conference will take place on 23 November 2016 in The Hague on the premises of the Confederation of Netherlands Industry and Employers (VNO-NCW). The Annual Conference will be held under the theme “Taking Stock, Looking Forward”. It will have two key objectives:
- To take stock of what has been achieved by the Platform and its members in 2016 and over the last three years; and
- To engage with the participants in order to understand their expectations surrounding the EU B@B Platform and to define how the Platform should engage with businesses in the future in order to facilitate their efforts to integrate natural capital and biodiversity in their investments and decision making.
As has been the case for the last two years, the Annual Conference will represent a great opportunity for the members of the EU B@B Platform and for other businesses to learn about the work of the EU B@B Platform and to exchange their views on the critical issues linked to business and biodiversity.
This year the Annual Conference will be organised back to back with the international conference Natural Capital | Let’s talk business! (23 November 2016 to 25 November 2016). All the participants in the EU B@B Platform Annual Conference will benefit from a free pass to the opening event of the Natural Capital | Let’s talk business! Conference on Wednesday night.
