This text was taken from the Workshop: how to deliver on the TCFD recommendations (London).
“PwC and the Climate Disclosure Standards Board will lead this half-day workshop to provide companies with the practical guidance they need to deliver on the TCFD requirements.
The recommendations of the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) are quickly rising to the attention of several companies as a key deliverable in their reporting cycle. With the UK publicly supporting the recommendations and looking at a review of its reporting regulation, as well as increasing pressure from the investor community, companies need to be prepared to disclose information on the financial risks and opportunities that climate change creates.
PwC and the Climate Disclosure Standards Board will lead this half-day workshop to provide companies with the practical guidance they need to deliver on the TCFD requirements.
The workshop will include an overview of some practical steps to help companies deliver the right information in their annual reports, with a deep dive on some of the most challenging topics that the TCFD has created. The day will feature an interactive group exercise and discussion to help attendees navigate the challenges that will derive from integrating climate and financial information.
