Sonja has worked on impact valuation since 2015. She leads the impact measurement and valuation practice at Novartis and oversees the company’s engagement with the Value Balancing Alliance engagement. She is a member of the Impact Value Standards Board and serves on the Capitals Coalition Advisory Panel.
Previously, Sonja was the co-chair of the Valuation Technical and Practitioner Committee of the International Foundation for Valuing Impacts and was a member of the Value Commission of the Capitals Coalition.

Sonja is a First Movers Fellow of the Aspen Institute. She holds an MBA from IMD Business School and degrees in Physics and Mathematics from the University of Freiburg.
