How does it connect to capitals?

A wellbeing economy recognizes that for too long our economic systems have been focused on a myopic measure of success in the form of GDP growth. By elevating the health of the natural world and the wellbeing of people and communities as measures of economic success, a wellbeing economy supports the need for a capitals approach which can provide the information needed to develop effective wellbeing budgets and policies, and monitor their effectiveness.

The Capitals Coalition is a partner of the Wellbeing Economy Alliance.
